Winter

"Winter," 6x4 oil painting inspired by my granddaughter's adventures in the snowy landscapes of New England. Using bold brushstrokes and textured paint, I aimed to evoke the depth and emotion of the season. With a palette of blacks, grays, and Titanium white, I sought to create an atmosphere of mystery and introspection, reminiscent of my own childhood memories in the snow. Despite its small size, "Winter" speaks to the beauty and quietude of those serene, frosty days. I hope it inspires you to find wonder and introspection in the midst of life's storms.
